ELECTRICAL CENTRIFUGAL WATER PUMP

    Centrifugal pumps are designed to move clean or slightly dirty water at relatively high flow rates. They are installed above ground (not submerged) and are widely used for general water transfer applications.

Common Applications:
• Water transfer from tanks, dams, or rivers
• Irrigation systems (agricultural and garden)
• Pressure boosting in buildings or pipelines
• Industrial water supply and circulation
• Cooling water systems
• Swimming pool circulation (in some cases)
• General dewatering where the pump can be placed above the water source

Key Characteristics:
• Easy to install and maintain (surface mounted)
• Good for high flow rates
• Not ideal for pumping water with large solids (unless it’s a trash pump version)
• Usually requires priming before use (unless it’s a self-priming model)
• Available in different power ratings (this one looks like it could be in the 0.75kW – 3kW range)
